Listen to a recording of the first night from KPLU.

The Big Night

Despite no information on the Rendezvous Website about our little event, we SOLD OUT the Grotto. 37 artists packed into the small space, and unfortunately we had to turn some away. Miss Indigo Blue was mesmerizing... that headress! Ernie Von Schmaltz went above and beyond what I could hope for Hosting the show. Can't beat a tassle thong.

In June we will be in the Jewelbox Theater, More Seats and Tables! Easier access to Restrooms, Food and Drinks! And should feel cooler too. With the extra lights on in the Grotto it got a little warm, sorry about that.

Special Thanks to the Meetup group! I will be reading your comments on how to improve our monthly event, please don't hesitate to email me either: liz@drsketchyseattle.com

Someone had the great question of "What is Anti-Art?", and like anything Art, its open to interpretation. Here is the poster about showing New York what Anti-Art is, click on it for more information:

Again, I can't thank everyone enough for making the first show so successful and memorable. Hope to see you in June!

This amazing piece (in 20 minutes!) won him 2 tickets to the new Seattle Arts Museum.

Why reserving a table is a good idea.

Food, Drinks, and Watercolors.

Miss Indigo Blue mesmerized us with her many costumes and feathers. Simply stunning.
