Bittersweet

Out from the underground, and into the Jewelbox Theater. We sold out again, though it turned out to be the same amount of seats due to the extra tables. And thank goodness, we had quite a bit of watercolors, big colored pencil kits, and other paints I don't want to know about. The good news is everyone cleaned up beautifully, so you are welcome to bring those kits again.

Unfortunately some folks were either given the wrong information, or no information on advanced tickets, and we had to turn them away. I am truly sorry, I will make sure its extra clear on the Meetup page. A bittersweet night.

Tamara spoiled the artists. Don't expect all our models to be so acommodating. And Jasper kept it cool, singing to us when then CD player skipped. That great music by the way, was Tamara's selection. I agree with our photographer Chris; once we fancied burlesque performers, now we covet their music collections. Really though, you should see Tamara actually perform a trapeze act. Right now you can catch her at the Columbia City Cabaret. Maybe I'll see you there.

We made it on The Stranger Suggests for that week! Who knows, maybe the next time you come to draw we will have TV coverage.

And check out this beautiful watercolor of Tamara.Go here to see more and read her blog from that night.

Send me yours! I just love everyones artistic creations from our sessions. Thank you, and hope to see you in July, with our First Boylesque model. New York doesn't think men can pack a house. Let's show them what Seattle can do.

The ever-so talented and acommodating Tamara the Trapeze Lady and cool cat Jasper McCann ushered us into the Jewelbox theater in style.

Creative artists braved incorporating an airplane/rocket into their sketches,

and got to pick their winnings from an array of prizes, one being Bush TP.

Tamara gave us what we wanted. Trapeze poses!

She spoiled the artists by letting them tell her what they wanted to see, even for how long!

Truly a delight. Not all our models are going to be this accomodating.

So many watercolors, even huge colored pencil kits. Though our policy is only small sets, everyone cleaned up beautifully.

What a night...
