Believe the Hype

The first session of the year just happened to fall on a very special day - Martin Luther King Day! What an honor, and it was nice to see some new faces, as well as the regulars who did a great job making their own renegade number system (so you don't have to wait in line, and it also helps the Rendezvous) since we arrived too late to set the official number system out, my bad, we will make sure this gets done next month! At least Ms. Honeysuckle Hype delivered, even made and brought treats! Funny, sweet, and an all around cutie-pie, theres no starving artist with Honey around.

Ernie makes us welcome in the New Year...again..."Ten!..nine!..eight!..."

"Three!..Two!..ONE!" It's Ms. Honeysuckle Hype!

Cheeky!

I love this sultry look. Insert palanquin carried by half naked men.

It was Honeys idea to use this chair, and she sure had fun with it.

"Not a circumcision joke" she says.

Honey PERSONALLY COOKED up some yummy collard greens with her "good olive oil" for us to eat while we sketch her WITH collard greens.

Act 2: Picnic Time!

with Chef Ernie?

Honey handed out small meat sticks for us to eat, then pulls out her own...

A prize was awarded to the artist who signed their art with their meat stick. Only ONE succeeded! or didn't eat their stick first (art not pictured).

Honey wearing real vintage 1940's lingerie (with a modern dye job). Classy...

Last pose of the evening: Boxing gloves and hotdog pasties.

What you can do in 15 minutes amazes me...

Winner of the BIG prize from one of our sponsors: Imagekind.com! Congrats!
